公平に見て、あの傲慢な王様は作中で言われているよりも自分には有能に見える。恐怖に怯えてつまらないセリフを言うのではなく、実際に何かをして、攻撃のために動いている
とにかく、パーティメンバー間での素敵なやり取りや、ダイが仲間を信じて時間稼ぎを託す様子が見られてよかった（ポップがドラゴン軍団に立ち向かったり、マァムの武術の腕前を目の当たりにしたりした後だしね）。あとは、ポップがマァムや両親に認められたことも嬉しい。後者はアバンではなく変態老魔導師に成長を感謝すべきだけど
ミストバーンがポップの予想を裏切って「誰も捕虜にすらしない」と宣言したのは面白かった
To be fair that arrogant king seems more competent to me than the show let it on. He's actually doing something and going for the offensive, instead of just cowering in fear and saying platitudes.
Anyway, glad to see some nice party dynamics and Dai trusting his friends to buy him time (he better be after Popp's showings against the dragon legion or witnessing Maam's martial prowess). Also glad that Popp has truly been acknowledged by Maam and his parents. Although the latter should thank the old pervert mage instead of Avan for his growth.
It's funny how Mystvearn betrayed Popp's expectations and proclaimed he would take no prisoners.

全体的にとても素晴らしいエピソードだった。ポップはこのシリーズで俺の一番好きなキャラクターであることを証明し続けてる。彼は自分が何をすべきなのか、パニックになりながらもちゃんと分かっている。次のエピソードでついにミストバーンの戦闘が見られるな。楽しみにしてる
Pretty awesome episode all around. Popp continuingly proves to be my favorite character in this series. He knows what he has to do despite being freaked out about it. We finally get to see Mystvearn in action next episode. Definetly looking forward to it.

先週のエピソードがあっという間に終わってしまったのに比べて、今回のエピソードはとても遅く感じた。でもポップの家族が彼の成長を実感するシーンなど素晴らしい場面があった。結構感動しちゃった。来週のミストバーン城での戦いに向けて、ダイの新しい武器を早く鍛えられるといいね
pisode felt very slow compared to how fast last week episode went by. Still some great moments today like Poppy’s family realising how much he’d grown up. Got pretty emotional seeing that. Nice set up for the Mystvearn castle fight for next week, hopefully Dai will have his new weapon forged soon too.

前回がかなり急いでただけに、今回のエピソードがゆっくりだったのは良かった。自分の記憶では、今回のエピソードはより漫画に忠実だったと思う
ただ全体的にはこれから起こることのための準備回だったね
Well it's actually a good thing this episode was slower as the previous one was pretty rushed. They moved one part that should have been on the previous episode (the introduction of the King of Bengarna and his tanks legion) was supposed to happen on the previous episode. This plus some other things they omitted on the previous episode make it too fast.
While this one was more accurate to the manga as far as I remember.
But yeah overall this was a setup chapter for what it's about to happen.

I felt the pace was right. No need to rush into things. A steady buildup and good exposition is needed for a great climax.

すごく急いだエピソードの後、東映はかなりゆっくりとしたペースのエピソードを提供してくれた。多くのファンは、今週は速いペースで戦闘パートに到達すると思ってたけど、そうはならなかったね。何のために38話を急いだのか？何の意味もない！笑
今の伝説の剣編のペースは絶対に良くないと思う。今後のエピソードタイトルを見た感じ、残り原作11話分を2話でアニメ化するみたいだから、原作5.5話/アニメ1話というペースになる
今週のエピソードは平均的。来週はもっっっと良くなるだろう
After a very rushed episode, Toei now give us a quite slow-pace ep, even slower than I expect lol (3 chapters and some pages that episode 38 cut out last week). Many fans thought that they would keep fast pace to reach fighting parts quickly this week but NOPE! So what's the purpose of rushing episode 38??? FOR NOTHING! lol
The pace of this Holy Sword Arc is definitely not good:
11 chapters left and based on some upcoming episode titles, they will adapt the whole rest in two episodes, that's mean 5.5 chapters/ 1 ep
An average episode this week. Next week will be muchhh better

文字通りの動く城。そんなもんとどうやって戦うってんだ。これまでの戦車のなす術のなさを見た限りじゃとても勝てそうには見えない。あの王様が強大な兵器を持ってるって豪語してる時から話にならないと分かってたよ。
ミストバーンは最も手ごわい軍団長だ。今のところあまり明らかになってないけど、ザボエラを除けばミストバーンが唯一のまだ負けていない軍団長だからね。子安という声優を起用した時点でこのキャラが重要な役割を果たすのは間違いなかったけど、ここにきてミストバーンにスポットライトが当たってきたな
この巨大なモンスター城には終始アゴが外れっぱなしだったよ。あんなもんと戦おうとするだなんて正気の沙汰じゃない。幸い、次のエピソードで俺の推しが一行を助けに戻ってくるようだ
A literal moving castle, how do you fight such a thing. It seems unbeatable after what we just saw, those tanks did nothing. I knew that King with his so called mighty weapons would be all talk when facing a literal moving castle. Mystvearn is already the toughest general to attack the heroes. He's the least we know about at this point but other than Zaboera he's the only one left to defeat. Definitely having a seiyuu such as Koyasu its known the character will be important but now Mystvearn is coming into the spotlight. This giant monster castle had my jaw on the floor the entire episode. Its insane trying to fight something like that. Luckily my boy comes back next episode to help them out.

Lon Beruk is literally giving birth, like woman in labor, to Dai's new sword. And he want Dai to congrats to his child, or more like the child between them. And this is a beautiful symbolism.
But Hyunckel will be back in the next episode! I'm wondering if he has anything to do with the next episode's name...
