I say f*ck the old civilization if all they are going to do is destroy the world again because they are a bunch of petty individuals locked into the same way of thinking that turned the world into a hellscape in the first place.
It will take thousands of years but when the earth is finally cleaned of all the radioactive filth hopefully the nuHuman race has figures out a work around to their lungs not working with clean air.

長年かけて、こういうのを書いている人たちは物事をよく考えずに、ただ「気分のいい」メッセージを送りたいだけなんだと確信するようになった
This reminds me of how pissed off I was at the end of Mirai Shonen Conan, they literally doomed humanity to perish/suffer immensely if even one deadly disease happened or a small tsunami could wipe them out just as well.
Over the years I've become more and more convinced that the kind of people who write this stuff dont really think things through, they just want to send a "feel good" message.

正直なところ、自分がこの作品を読んだのはほんの数年前だったと思うんだけど、途中からものすごく混乱してしまって、プロットがどうなっているのか、どのキャラクターが誰なのかさえもわからなくなってしまった。おそらく、最後まで読んだ/観た漫画やアニメの中で、最も迷った作品だと思う。ストーリーを基本的に理解し、自分がこの作品を好きだとがわかった今、読み返す価値は間違いなくある
not going to lie I probably read it only a couple years ago but I got confused as f*ck in the middle and really had no clue what was going in with the plot at times and even which characters were which. Probably the most lost I've ever been with a manga or anime that I actually completed. Definitely worth a reread now that I have a basic understanding of the story and know that I like it
