シーズン2にはガロプラ戦、Round 5とRound 6があったけど、シーズン3はRound 7とRound 8くらい、気前が良ければもしかしたらRound 8の途中までか。試合前の準備にもこれまでより尺を使うから、今シーズンよりはアクションが少なくなるだろうな

S2 had Galopoula, Round 5, and Round 6. S3 only has Round 7, Round 8, and maybe mid-tier Round 8 if they're feeling generous. Plus the pre-match preparations will take longer than they did before, so it's going to be less action packed than this season.

Why isn't sniper blitz a more standard strategy? Kuga was able to hop over there in like five seconds and take Oki out. Grasshopper should be as standard as Shields and Bagworm because you could just pull this shit

Emergency grasshoppers could be a nice idea but you risk being seen as you fly through the air.

このラウンドの結末はいつも「ハリー・ポッターと炎のゴブレット」のクィディッチ・ワールドカップの結果を思い出すわ。「生駒がスニッチを取ったが、玉駒が勝った！」

葦原先生が監修したランク戦とトーナメントだけのアニメオリジナルのスピンオフ作品を作ってくんないかな。世界観やキャラクターはスポーツ作品に適していると思うんだけど、作者の健康状態を考えると、必要以上に仕事を増やせないよな

それはともかく、シーズン2は待った甲斐があった。素晴らしいアニメーションで、漫画の素晴らしいシーンがすべて生き生きと表現されてたし、Bランク戦編がシーズン3で完結するというのも素晴らしい（日本のファンの皆さん、この作品を愛して資金を確保してくれてありがとう！！）

Funnily enough, this round’s ending always reminds me of the Quidditch World Cup result in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire; “Ikoma gets the snitch, but Tamakoma wins!”

I know it would likely never happen, but I would love a canon anime-only spin off that’s just Rank Wars and Tournaments, overseen by Ashihara-sensei. The world building and characters lend themselves so well to a sports series, though given the author’s health, I’d hate for him to take on any more work than needed.

That said, Season 2 was definitely worth the wait! The fantastic animation really brought all the great moments from the manga to life and it’s awesome knowing the B-Rank Wars arc will be getting its conclusion with Season 3 (thanks Japanese fans for loving the series so much to ensure it gets funded!!!)
