真面目に今回のエピソードのタイトルは”2人の”不死身の救世主すべだったな。ヒュンケルだけじゃなくてクロコダインもドラマチックに帰ってきたんだから。クロコダインの登場を見てヒュンケル帰ってくるんだろうなとは思ったんだけど、最後の最後まで焦らしてくれた。
ハドラーは俺達の勇者一行と衝突するにふさわしいヴィランだと思う。正真正銘の極悪人でとんでもない冷酷さ。ハドラーがkasizz(ベギラゴン)使ってポップとマァムを吹き飛ばしたときは目がまん丸になったわ。
次回のヒュンケルvsハドラー戦が楽しみ！！
This episode should really be called the two death defying saviors. Since we get both Crocodine and Hyunckel returning in dramatic fashion! Once we saw Crocodine return I figured Hyunckel would too but man did they squeeze out every last second of tension. Hadlar is definitely a worthy villain for our heroes to face. He's downright diabolical, the dude is ruthless beyond compare he's just that evil. I had my eyes like saucers when he used Kasizz and nearly blasted Popp and Maam away.
I'm giddy with excitement for the next episode with Hyunckel vs Hadlar!!!

This episode was nicely done. Man. To think Crocodine will be back to help out Dai. As for Hyunckel he was hinted to be alive since he was shown at the ending of the opening song. I wonder how Crocodine and Hyunckel survived? Even if it is filler or so I would like to know simple good details enough to be satisfied. Looking forward to the next episode. Toei is really doing a nice job so far with the animation, art, choreography and music so far.

おい、なんてエピソードだよ。望みが絶たれたと思った矢先にクロコダインとヒュンケルが助けに来てくれた。ちょっと心配したけどクロコダインが来た瞬間に、ヒュンケルも一緒に来てるんだろうなって思ったよ。
父親の敵を討とうとするヒュンケルは完璧だ。次週が待てん。戦闘もすごいことになりそうだし。あとポップはマァムに思いを伝えるんだろうか
Man what an episode. Just as all hope looked lost, Crocodine and Hyunckel come to save the day. I was worried there for a bit, but once crocodine showed up I knew it had to be Hyunckel with him.
Hyunckel getting revenge on Hadlar for killing his father would be perfect. Can’t wait for next week, the fight looks like it’s going to be awesome. Wonder if Popp will tell Maam how he feels too.

今までの流れからダイのファンになって旅の助けをしてるんじゃないかと思ってたけど、今回の再登場は最高だった。もちろんヒュンケルの再登場も
追伸：ポップも注目に値する。守るべき人を抱えた今、ポップの秘められた力が覚醒しつつあるように感じるね
Crocodine!!!!!!!!! I suspected from previous eps he had become a fan of Dai and somehow aid them in there travels but this eps entrance was supreme level ass kicking. Not to mention Hyunckel is alive and kicking still.
p.S Popp deserves a mention, I feel he is awakening his latent powers now he has people to protect

すごい緊張感あってうまく作られてたな。17話を見てきて、俺のお気に入りの一つになったよ。ポップがこの作品でぶっちぎりで一番のお気に入り。ヒュンケルは予想してたけど、クロコダインの登場はビッグサプライズだった
It was so tense and everything was so well executed. 17 episodes and this show is already one of my favorites. And Popp is by far my favorite character on this show, I love his development.
I was expecting Hyunckel, but seeing Crocodine was a big surprise.

何十年も前に漫画を読んだんだけど、細かいとこも物語の進行もすっかり忘れてた。だから、ヒュンケルがいつか戻ってくるとは分かってたけど、まさかこのタイミングでクロコダイン（この作品で一番好き）と一緒に、そしてハドラーへの父復讐のために戻ってくるとは思わなかった。最高のクリフハンガー、次のエピソードを待ちきれないわ。嬉しいことに、だいたい全部忘れてるから、戦いの行方がわからないんだ
あとこのアニメ化の敵モンスターの描かれ方が好き。コミカルに抽象化されていて、原作ゲームのスタイルがよく表現されてる。炎のやつらが可愛い
I read the manga decades ago and forgot all of details and the story progression. So I knew Hyunckel would come back at some point, but didn't expect at this moment with Crocodine (my favorite in the series), and for his father's revenge on Hadlar? The hypest cliffhanger in the series, can't wait the next episode. Glad I forgot everything, don't know where the battle goes.
Also I love enemy monsters' art style in this adaptation. They are comically abstracted, well represented the style of the original game. The flame guys are cute.

Dang, that scene where Hadlar was going to kill Maam was even more intense than in the manga though. It was definitely hard to watch poor Popp's horror and helplessness to do anything to stop him.

Man, that tune that started playing when Hyunckel shows up got me hyped even though I knew it was coming. Music doing its job perfectly, lol. This shot really struck me as well. Great seeing the folks working on the show put some of their own spins on things in there.

あとクロコダインも、ダイとの戦闘で夜明けの朝日のせいで負けたんだけど、今回は夜明けの光を背負ってダイを助けるために登場してるんだ。その光景が大好き
Also notable that Hyunckel sunk into the lava but revived from the ice.
Similar goes for Crocodine as well, with him being lost to Dai because of the morning sunlight on their first battle, and now our Croccy comes to save the Dai setting morning sunlight on his back. I love that shot.

次週は原作でも屈指の名勝負の一つ、ヒュンケルvsハドラー。ヒュンケルとその父親、そしてセンセイを殺した仇との勝負
ちなみに俺このハドラーが好き。声優が素晴らしい仕事してるわ
Next episode is one of the best fights of the manga. Hyunckel vs. Hadlar. Hyunckel against the man who killed both his father and sensei.
I love this Hadlar by the way. The seiyuu is doing a great job on the character.

髪はそれ自体の方が良い(？)けど、より筋肉質なデザインと大きなタトゥーのおかげでハドラーがより威厳がある見た目になってる
この辺りから作者が常軌を逸しはじめて、この作品のクリエイティブなところが増えていったと記憶してる。だからここからずっと上り調子だ
The hair on it's own is better, but the more muscular design with the huge tatoo really makes him look a lot more imposing.
I remember this is where the author and artist starting deviating more and getting more creative with the series, so it's all uphill from here.
