ポップとは苦しみである
どいつもこいつも魔法無効鎧だのオーラだのMPを消耗する羽だの持ってる。
さらに言うと自然系魔物やゴーストにも近接攻撃が効くし、戦士でも物理/オーラの範囲攻撃を持っていたりする
わざわざ魔法使いになる理由があるんだろうか？
Popp is suffering
Everyone has an armor that nullifies magic, an aura that nullifies magic, feathers that drain MP or are resistant to magic.
To add more salt to the wound, melee works on everything even elemental creatures and ghosts and even when you can't get close enough warriors have some sort of phys/aura ranged attack
Why would anyone even bother becoming a mage?

Consider that Popp could have put up a much better fight had birdfaggot not had magic sapping feathers. Don't think of it as them being weak though, more like how Hyunckel doesn't feel as many leagues ahead of the rest after this, which is good really.

新しいドラクエのモバゲーをやってるけど、アニメの声優とかBGMが使われててすごく良い。プレイ感はゼノブレイドにちょっと似てて個人的に面白い
Playing new dragon quest mobage, really great and cool cause all the assets like VA and OST are brought here. Also the gameplay is kinda similar to xenoblade, which is fun imo.

クローズドβテストでは現時点で(戦士、魔法使い、勇者と合わせて)4つか利用出来ないな。OC(オリキャラ?)以外の5人は衣装変更ができないみたいで、最初のヒュンケルの章だとマァムが画像の姿になってた
そういやポップはマァムを他の女の子とは違う扱いをしてて、ダイから質問を食らってかわそうとしてた。「他の女の子に対するみたいに優しくすればいいのに」とか「どうしてマァムにはそんな風に話さないの？」とかそんなん。
クロコダインは魔王軍を裏切った罪悪感とか、再び対面したときにどう接したらいいか分からないみたいなこと考えてる描写があった
cleric, the closed beta only allows those 4 at the moment, also I can't seem to change outfits for the 5 available characters aside from the oc so I went through the initial hyunckel chapter with maam looking like this. apparently you get outfits through treasures and they probably act like different characters with different character quests. speaking of which Popp's was about how he treats Maam different to other girls and tries to dodge around Dai's questions like when he says "you could just "be nice" to other girls" or "why dont you talk to maam like that?" or things like that. One of Crocodines has him feeling some guilt over betraying the dark army and how he wouldn't know what to do if he came across his old troops again.

Is there a sub for the anime? I'm just sad to see so few participants in a discussion for such a good show.
Edit: Is it just me, or did animation dipped a bit in this week's ep? It's not bad, but it's quite noticeable for me during the action scenes.

あの複雑な甲冑を描くと壊滅的ダメージを受けるから当然だよ。だからヒュンケルの鎧はよく壊れるんだけど、積極的に動く戦闘シーンだとその問題が大きくなってしまうな
その点を考慮すると、今回のアニメでは、メタリックな輝きを放つ甲冑の描写がとても美しくて良かったよ
There's really no wonder that the battle seemed static, because drawing those complicated armors would be devastating, which also was an issue while drawing manga and the old anime. That was why Hyunckel's armor was often destroyed, and the issue will be so much bigger while aggressively moving combat scenes.
Considering that, I thought the looks of the armor itself in this anime was really beautiful, metallic glare and all.

ヒュンケルの笑顔も好きだし、ポップが竜騎衆の攻撃を持ちこたえて、ガルダンディを仕留めるだけの力を残していたことを誇りに思う。ガルダンディがあれほどの悪党だっただけに、あいつがやられるシーンはすごく満足感があった
I love Hyunckel and Popp's respect for each other even though they're snarky about it as well. XD I also love Hyunckel's smile and how proud he was of Popp for being able to hold out against the Dragon Riders the way he did and being able to summon up enough power to finish off Galdandy. Which was certainly a very satisfying kill to see after how much of an evil jerk Galdandy was.

鎧装着したヒュンケルが鎖を壊すシーンは何度見ても飽きないな
そういやヒュンケルが自分のお気に入りのキャラクターになったよ(ポップをはるかに凌駕してる)。彼がもっと成長して、できればパワーアップしてくれると嬉しい
ヒュンケルは単に衣装チェンジしてるだけだと思ってたけど、エンディングを見た感じあの男を倒すと鎧を手に入れるみたいだな。あの伸縮自在の剣は最高にかっこいい武器だったから残念
I never get tired of seeing armored Hyunkel breaking chains.
Speaking of which, Hyunkel is now my favorite character (he beats Popp by a mile). Really glad that he is getting more development and hopefully powerups.
Based on the ending, I thought Hyunkel was simply changing outfits but it seems that when he beats that guy he would get his armor. Too bad because that elastic sword of his is one of the coolest weapons ever.
